This drone course in Singapore combines UAPL theory preparation with practical flight training for learners pursuing Class A rotorcraft operations up to 7kg. Frequently Asked Questions

No. You do not need to pass the CAAS UAPL Theory Test before enrolling in this course.

However, if you plan to obtain your UAPL licence, you will need to pass the CAAS Theory Test as part of the official licencing process.

No. Completing this course does not mean you will receive your UAPL immediately.

Upon successful completion, you will receive AKC's E-Certificate if you meet all competency requirements. To obtain your UAPL licence, you must meet the relevant CAAS requirements, including passing the theory test, completing the practical assessment, and submitting the required UAPL application.

No. A training drone (UA) is provided for all sessions and the practical assessment.

No. This drone course provides theory preparation and practical flight training, but completing it does not by itself authorise commercial drone operations.

You must still meet the applicable CAAS requirements, including the relevant theory test, UAPL practical assessment and licence application requirements.
