This comprehensive drone course prepares learners for the Class A UAPL rotorcraft up to 7kg pathway by covering both theory and practical training. 01Do I need to pass the CAAS UAPL Theory Test before joining this drone course?

No. You do not need to pass the CAAS UAPL Theory Test before enrolling in this course.

However, if you plan to obtain your UAPL licence, you will need to pass the CAAS Theory Test as part of the official licencing process.

02Will I receive my UAPL after completing this drone course?

No. Completing this course does not mean you will receive your UAPL immediately.

Upon successful completion, you will receive AKC's E-Certificate if you meet all competency requirements. To obtain your UAPL licence, you must meet the relevant CAAS requirements, including passing the theory test, completing the practical assessment, and submitting the required UAPL application.

03Do I need to bring my own drone or unmanned aircraft (UA)?

No. A training drone (UA) is provided for all sessions and the practical assessment.

04Can I fly a drone commercially after completing this drone course?

Not immediately. This drone course prepares you with the necessary knowledge and skills, but you must still meet CAAS requirements before flying commercially.

This includes passing the theory test, completing the practical assessment, and successfully applying for your UAPL licence.
