Mastering Your Mental Compass: A guide to Self-Awareness and Growth

Course Overview

This course aims to foster the development of a personal growth mindset by guiding participants to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Through practical activities, learners will develop self-awareness, the cornerstone of self-improvement, to better understand their mental and emotional landscape. The course will emphasize the importance of self-assessment and self-monitoring as tools for mastering one’s mental compass, leading to effective personal development. Participants will also learn how to recognize their limitations and boundaries, gaining insight into when to seek help and how to set realistic goals for continuous growth.

By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the skills necessary to enhance self-awareness, embrace a growth mindset, and actively work towards self-improvement in both personal and professional spheres.

Prerequisites

Assumed Skills and Knowledge:

  • WPLN- Level 5 or O levels or Diploma.
  • Experience: Nil

Learning Units:

  • Importance of knowing personal strengths and weaknesses for a growth mindset
  • Understanding Basic Mindfulness and Self-Awareness
  • Insights of Self-Assessment and Self-Monitoring
  • Knowing one’s limitations and boundaries to seek professional help if required

Additional Details:

Target Audience: Anyone keen in mental resilience.

Course Language: English, Course Duration: 8 Hours (including 45 mins assessment), 9 AM to 6 PM.

Assessment format and Duration: Written Assessment (30 min), Presentation (15 min).

Passing Criteria – 100% Marks. 100% Attendance is required. Max. class size: 20 Pax.
