AED & CPR | CPR AED Course

Course Overview

The CPR AED Course equips learners with practical skills to respond confidently to an adult experiencing cardiac arrest. Participants will learn to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency services, perform effective Hands-Only CPR, and safely operate an AED through instructor-led demonstrations and hands-on practice. The course also covers basic choking relief and essential safety considerations when performing CPR and using an AED.

Who Should Attend?

The CPR AED Course is suitable for members of the public, employees, CERT members, workplace safety personnel, parents, caregivers and anyone who wants to learn essential CPR and AED skills to respond to a cardiac emergency.

Prerequisites:

Minimum 18 years old
Learners are assumed to have at least WPLN Level 4 in English for reading, listening, speaking and writing.
No prior first-aid or resuscitation training is required.

Learning Units:

Chain of Survival and Cardiac Arrest Recognition
Emergency Response System Activation — Calling 995 and Requesting an AED
Hands-Only CPR
AED Operation — including Shock and No-Shock scenarios
Choking Relief
CPR & AED Safety

Certifications Granted:

Learners who successfully complete the course and pass the required assessments will receive an SRFAC-accredited CPR (Hands-Only) + AED Provider Certificate/Card, valid for 2 years.

100% course attendance is required.
