Mr Fang Koh Look is the Founder and Executive Chairman of AKC, bringing over 30 years of experience in training, consultancy and business leadership. He provides strategic direction for the organisation, guiding AKC's continued growth and transformation as a leading training and consultancy provider.

Throughout his career, Mr Fang has successfully led new business ventures and workforce development initiatives, helping organisations and individuals build capabilities for an evolving economy. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening AKC's reputation for quality, innovation and industry relevance.

Mr Fang holds a Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) and has also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS.

His contributions to business and entrepreneurship have been recognised through prestigious accolades, including ASEAN Business Advisory Council’s The ASEAN Business Awards: Overall Winner Most Admired ASEAN Enterprise in 2014, the Enterprise 50 Award in 2013 and the Rotary Singapore–ASME Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2014.

Beyond the corporate sector, Mr Fang is passionate about education and youth development. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the College Advisory Committee of Anderson Serangoon Junior College. In recognition of his contributions to Singapore's education landscape, he was awarded the Service to Education Award (Silver) by the Ministry of Education in 2024. Wanting to share his knowledge, Mr Fang has also written two publications: 逆向阳光 in 2018 and Absolutely Positive in 2015.

Having earned First-Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and awarded the NTU President's Research Scholar, Mr Fang Che Yong began his career with the Robotics Division of the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), where he managed collaborations between the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and industry partners to develop and deploy advanced robotics solutions. His contributions to defence innovation and capability development were recognised with the prestigious SAF Commander Coin and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) Exemplary Innovator Award.

An Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) holder and a Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP)-certified adult educator, Mr Fang Che Yong combines technical expertise, business acumen and a deep understanding of adult learning principles. He remains committed to ensuring that AKC continues to deliver relevant, accessible and high-quality training that creates meaningful outcomes for learners, employers and industries alike.

Mr Fang Che Yong represents the next chapter of AKC's leadership journey. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience across the business, building a strong understanding of the company's operations, culture and mission. Today, as Chief Executive Officer, he leads AKC's continued growth and transformation while being supported by a seasoned leadership team and guided by strong foundations that were established since 2001.

Prior to becoming CEO, Mr Fang Che Yong led AKC's Business Development and Outreach divisions, helping to expand the company's training portfolio, digital capabilities and strategic partnerships. He played a key role in establishing AKC's customer success and e-learning functions, while contributing to the development of more than 60 SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)-aligned courses spanning sectors such as workplace safety, food and beverage, business excellence, technology, digitalisation and emerging technologies. He also contributed to the acquisition of multiple major training licences, supporting AKC's growth to more than 100 employees across four locations.

Mr Fang Che Yong has spearheaded a range of capability-building initiatives that have strengthened the organisation's competitiveness and operational effectiveness. He established AKC's digital marketing and analytics capabilities from the ground up, enabling more data-driven decision-making and customer engagement. He also laid the foundations for the adoption of Agentic Artificial Intelligence solutions to streamline end-to-end operational processes, while introducing 2D and 3D training simulators to enhance immersive and experiential learning. In addition, he has forged strategic partnerships in talent acquisition and workforce development, supporting AKC's continued growth and ability to attract and develop talent.

As AKC continues to evolve, Mr Fang Che Yong remains focused on building an organisation that is innovative, resilient and future-ready while staying true to its founding values of service, excellence and lifelong learning.

Mr Tony Tang has been a key member of AKC's leadership team for decades, playing an instrumental role in the company's growth, operational excellence and industry reputation. Throughout his tenure, he has overseen day-to-day operations, strengthened organisational processes and led the development of AKC's training infrastructure to support the company's expanding portfolio of programmes and services.

Widely respected for his strong relationships with industry partners, government agencies and key stakeholders, Mr Tang has been a trusted representative of AKC, helping to strengthen the company's reputation and standing within the training and workforce development sector. Working closely with the Board and management team, he has driven the implementation of business strategies, strengthened corporate governance and championed continuous organisational improvement.

As AKC enters its next phase of growth, Mr Tang has transitioned from his role as Chief Executive Officer to serving as Senior Adviser. In this capacity, he continues to provide strategic counsel, mentor the next generation of leaders and apply his deep institutional knowledge to support the company's long-term success.

Mr Tang holds a Bachelor of Science in General Management from the University of London, United Kingdom and has more than 25 years of experience in general management and auditing.
