Basic Traffic Manager Course

Course Overview

Basic Traffic Manager Course equips you with increased awareness and familiarity with traffic control at the work zones

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

Understand each step in providing traffic signs based on the speed of the roads
Know how to use standard traffic control devices recognized by motorists throughout the island and in accordance with the code of practice.
Safeguarding the motorist, pedestrian, co-workers, and yourself.

Prerequisites:

Assumed Skills & Knowledge: Recommended for the trainee to achieve WSQ ESS Workplace Literacy & Numeracy level 5.

Additional Details:

Maximum class size: 8 participants. Course Duration: 4 hours, including 0.5 hour Assessment.

Assessment Duration: Written Assessment – 30 mins.

Passing Criteria – Should achieve 65% & above

Attendance Requirement: 100% Attendance is required to sit for the assessment. Medium of Instruction: English
