Prerequisites

Learners should be:

  • Speak, listen and read English at Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5, and manipulate numbers at Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 5.
  • GCE ‘O’ Level, GCE ‘N’ Level or ITE Certificate.
  • Minimum of three months of work experience in the cleaning operations sector as a Cleaning Supervisor or with the interest to be employed in the industry.

  • New Entrants (Supervisory level) to the Sectors, seeking career transition opportunities

Assessment Format & Duration

  • Written Assessment – 90 mins
  • Oral Questioning – 20 mins

Passing Criteria

  • Learners are required to achieve a 100% score for the assessment in order to attain a “Competent” grade.
  • In addition, 100% attendance is mandatory to complete the course

Learners are eligible for SSG training grants only if they pass the course. Those who fail the assessment will not qualify for course funding.
