WSQ Food Safety Course Level 2

Commonly asked Questions

Who should attain WSQ FSC Level 2 certification in Singapore?

All food handlers looking to upskill after FSCL1. However, FSCL1 is not an entry requirement for FSCL2. It is recommended for F&B supervisors for their food stalls to effectively apply food safety principles.

How long is the Food Safety Course Level 2?

The duration of the Food Safety Course Level 2 (FSC L2) is as follows:

  • FSC L2: 6 hours of training + 1.5 hours of assessment

Can I take Food Safety Course Level 2 instead of taking Food Safety Course Level 1?

To maintain the validity of your Food Safety Level 1 certification, it is essential to complete the Level 1 (Refresher) course separately and within the designated timeframe. Please note that the Level 2 course is a more advanced program and does not fulfill the refresher requirement for Level 1. Additionally, the Level 2 course does not replace the Food Safety Level 1 course itself.
