The Basic English for Migrant Workers Course

Course Overview

There are many scenarios at work where communication in English language is a necessity. In this course, learners will be able to communicate using basic phrases and sentences to handle daily conversation, observe works and simple phrases to carry out routine duties.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to:

  • List and pronounce Alphabets, including knowing when to use upper/lower case
  • List and pronounce numbers
  • List days and months
  • Tell time-24hr, analog, digital
  • Read and pronounce money and currencies
  • Able to conduct self intro
  • Identify construction tools and equipment
  • Identify safety equipment and tools
  • Safety signs and signals in Construction

Target Audience:

Those persons that wants to work as Migrant Workers in Singapore
Have little and no formal training in language

Certificate of Attendance will be issued for the participants with 100% attendance.
